Hi, my name is Latrice Summers and my husband name is Harold. So to introduce myself I would like to start by talking about The reason we are seeking help with our fertility treatment. Me and my husband have been together for a total of 13 years and married for 7 years on August 30th 2025. So, about 10 years ago January 2016 we found out that I was pregnant l, prior to this I didn’t even know that I could even get pregnant due to prior relationships it never happened. So we were excited, then about seven and a half weeks in I found out I was having an ectopic / tubal pregnancy 💔 and that I would have to be rushed into emergency surgery to have the baby removed and at the same time almost losing my life due to internal bleeding. We were devastated! Finally something we wanted for so long and now it’s being ripped away. After the surgery the doctor told me that they had to remove my left fallopian tube and due to it rupturing and they could not save it… So I had one tube left so we decided we would try again so 6 months later in June 2016 we found out it was pregnant again and about 8 weeks I got really sharp pains I was in the shower and fell in the tub and I went to the hospital. I had several ultrasounds or blood work/tests at this time the baby was not physically in my tube ,but they also said they could not see it in my uterus. However it was recommended that we terminate the pregnancy Well we had already just had an ectopic pregnancy 6 months earlier and didn’t want to experience that again. So at first we were hesitant but knowing that the Dr was trying to give us the best advice we decided to go ahead and end the pregnancy via injection… maybe 1 hour later I had severe pain again on my right side and after several test and ultrasounds the doctor determine that it was another ectopic/ (tubal) pregnancy and that I would have to have emergency surgery as my only tube I had left ruptured and I was having a lot of internal bleeding worse this time around. Fast forward to March 2024 we found a great fertility clinic that was local to see what my options were and I had got several tests/ultrasounds and blood work to determine that my uterus is fine and I am ready to start the IV process. This is our only option to have a baby and start our family ..and that it’s impossible to conceive naturally without this procedure… having a child is the most important thing to us… So now we’re at the point where we are just trying to come up with the money to start our first IVF round. It’s the last thing for us to do, and we are trying to save every thing that we can…We are very hopeful and pray that one day will be able to solidify our union and become the beautiful family that we want so badly ..we are very appreciate for any help trying to ask we travel along this journey because it is the most important thing in the world to us..May God bless you ❤️
